The daunting task of designing a monumental 25,000 square-foot Greek-style home was awarded to KLC Architects. Recently completed, this magnificent mansion is nestled on 5.6 acres of secluded Long Island enclave, a nearby suburb of Manhattan. A ceremonious entrance way leads through a grand foyer with a 24-feet high domed ceiling, with gold leaf moldings. Descending from the dome is a stunning Swarovski crystal chandelier adding glamour to already an alluring space with in-laid gold marble flooring and an elaborate stairway iron-railing. French Modern throughout and Contemporary in the basement with a Korean-themed tea room on the 2nd floor. Thus, the home exhibits thoughtful contrasts and transitions throughout. Clean lines and spare detailing continue in the master bathroom and dressing area, distilling the best of the classical, the Far Eastern and the modern.
