Cambridge Building Lobby

1270 Broadway, New York

Just turned of the century, this 100 years old historical building a.k.a. Wilson building(also known as Cambridge building, named by the current owner), originally designed by Architect Rouse & Goldstone in 1911-1912, had new entrance look to their tenants and visitors. the Buildig original entry design was remodeled several time by previous building owners, did not leave no trace back to the history. Aged & deteriorated existing finish surfaces were completely removed and replaced by the polished cream colored limestone/ black marble with accented white veins. Double story high ceiling was highlighed by direct/ indirect light cove with over sized full height glass entrance to receive a maximum Greeley Square view right in front of the building.
