LG Electronics’s Mobile Communication unit planned to recloate their existing Mexico based mobile handset assembly and packaging plants to US as part of their business unit re-structural program. New 337,700 sf vacant warehouse was selected for LG’s new US assembly plant for its cellular phones and portable wireless-enabled tablets. A 70,200 sf space of the warehouse was assigned to their Logistics business units for better & efficient business operation. The company also provide sales and marketing support in North America for its parent organization LG Electronics, a South Korea-based manufacturer of consumer electronics, information technology and communication products in the US through partnerships with
leading wireless carriers AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, as well as retail outlets such as Best Buy and Radio Shack.
